Sugar Doesn’t Know What It Takes Like is a surrealist look at a domestic space and all that happens in and around it.

Inspiration was taken from artists such as René Magritte, Salvador Dali and Pablo Picasso, architect Viktor Enrich as well as writer and artist Malcolm De Chazal. The title came from Sens-plastique by Malcolm De Chazal.

The work sits somewhere between dreams and reality, between objectivity and subjectivity.

The work was created for BA Performing Arts students at Cumbria University.
